Copper Mountain Ski ResortCopper Mountain Ski Resort is a large Resort located west of Denver, near Frisco, Colorado. The terrain separates into distinct slopes, allowing for beginner, intermediate and expert terrain, with the "double black diamond" slopes and bowls on the upper peaks above 12,000 feet. They have a vertical drop of 2,601 to the delight of their skiers. This is a full service Resort with their own village lodging and on/off mountain dining facilities. Copper Mountain has 126 marked trails, plus cross-country skiing through the White River National Forest. Available activities include Skiing, Snowboarding, Ice Skating, Snowshoeing, Tubing, Snowmobiling, Dog Sledding and Sleigh Rides. They are family oriented with a Kidz Park, a variety of Parks and Pipes, as well as having special camps for older children to learn skiing and snowboarding.
